How do we help?
Thrift Farm is our working farm and visitor attraction near Milton Keynes. It gives people the chance to be supported in a busy visitor attraction and play a real part in the running of a vibrant farm.
Thrift Farm has three sections to it. Clients play a vital role in the running of all of them. They are:
- Food4Thought café
- A market garden
- A farm park
Our team will work with you, providing training and support in a friendly environment.
We will support with things like:
- Feeding animals and managing areas of the farm
- Practical gardening skills
- Food development and hygiene
- Customer service skills
Thrift Farm is open to the public seven days a week between 9.30am and 4pm. It is closed, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
Kevin has played a huge role at the farm for many years. He enjoys running the farm shop, speaking with customers and welcoming families to it, telling them all about what they can do and see.
Kevin says: “Thrift Farm means everything and a chance for people like me.”
