Who we are
Seeleys House Opportunities and Respite Centre has been providing respite and day opportunities to hundreds of people for over 30 years. We offer valuable support during the day – and at night when it is needed – on the same site in Beaconsfield.
How we help
Whether it is support during the day, or a short-term break you are looking for, our team can support:
- Adults with learning disabilities
- Adults with autism
- Adults with physical disabilities
The centre creates time and space for personal breaks – not only for our clients – but for parents and carers too.
Our respite section has a capacity to offer great support to 12 people and our team will ensure that time spent with us is enjoyable and interactive. It is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
During the day, we offer support through fun and meaningful activities, helping to ensure that people leave Seeleys House with a smile on their face.
- ‘Rebound’ therapy – a fun and lively activity based on a trampoline
- Stimulating sessions in our sensory room
- Skills sessions – like food preparation – promoting independence
And don’t just take our word for it…
Andrew uses our respite service. He enjoys being able to have some time to himself – that might be taking part in an activity, or enjoying a drink in his room.
He chooses how he spends his break with us and our staff support him to do this.
How to find us…
